Tribute Dinner to Joyce Molyneux and food of the Carved Angel.
Joyce Molyneux has finally been recognised for her contribution to the British restaurant scene, by receiving a life time achievement award at this years Observer Food Monthly awards.
Retiring from the stoves at 68, Joyce had worked in the industry for 50 years and probably best known and loved for her food at The Carved Angel in Dartmouth. Jane was fortunate enough to work for her in the 80's and still cooks many of Joyce's dishes today, so an excuse to host a dinner celebrating this wonderful, humble lady, is as Jane puts it 'pure joy'.
We’d really appreciate it if guests could arrive on time – our food is prepared to serve at the allocated service times and to be enjoyed at its best.
