All About It.

Yup, that's what we're all about! We have four tables that can seat upto eight guests comfortably (and ten at a squeeze if you all know each other!) If you come as a two or a four (for example), you'll be asked to sit with other diners. Who knows they could be your new best friends?! Food is served in bowls to share around the table - it'll definitely get you talking!

We are now licensed and have selected some great wines and classic aperitivos! BYO is a thing of the past at WAHQ and no longer accepted.

We are happy to cater for pescatarian and vegetarian diners but our style of food and the ingredients we use regularly contain dairy, gluten, garlic, onion and nuts and along with our style of service are not suited to guests with specific dietary preferences, intolerances or allergies. If you have any questions about the food we serve, please feel free to drop us a line.

It's always a big dill...as we have a no parking zone at WAHQ for our customers. Space is limited and already allocated to our lovely neighbours. Please help us to respect this. There is a pay and display car park closeby in Lower Union Road, as well as on road parking (free after 6pm).

We'll be ready to welcome you from 6pm for aperitivo, and dinner will be served promptly at 7pm. Please allow plenty of time to arrive and settle in, so we can get cracking and serve our food at its WA best.

Wrapping up? Our evenings come to a natural close usually by 10pm.

WAHQ is a small, busy and sometimes noisy environment, with a dining area set up with shared seating around five large tables. We have found in the past that it is quite difficult for younger children (and more-so their parents!) in terms of keeping them entertained without affecting the comfort and enjoyment of the diners they share the table with. We're more than happy to welcome young children, but ask that parents are mindful of their fellow diners.

If you're bringing a buggy or pram, please let us know in advance.

We love our furry friends, but do have to be mindful of other diners who are not quite so fond. Our intimate dining space, shared table set up and open plan kitchen makes it a little tricky to accommodate them so sadly we have to ask you to leave them at home.

Need to cancel? If you need to put off your visit to WA, you can cancel upto 96 hours before your booked date without charge, after which time there's no refund for cancellations.
