At Wild Artichokes, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our site. To reassure you, it’s not our style to share or sell details of our customers with other companies for marketing purposes.  In our Privacy Policy, we’ve put together information on when and why we collect your personal data, how we use it, what we do to keep it secure and what to do if you don’t want to hear from us.

Visiting our website

When someone visits our website, we use our website platform ‘Squarespace Analytics’ to collect information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.  We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to various parts of the site, ultimately to understand our customer’s needs and improve what we do.   We also automatically receive your computers’ Internet Protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information about your browser and operation system.

You can access the Squarespace privacy policy here for more information.

Signing up for our newsletter

There is an option to subscribe to our newsletter on our website.  The system will record your email address and name and any other information volunteered by you- all of which will be kept confidentially. If you choose to subscribe, we will email you periodically with news and updates, and may check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied.

We use a third-party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver our newsletter.  We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter..  You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us at info@wildartichokes.co.uk.
For more information, please take a look at Mailchimp’s privacy notice

Purchasing event tickets online

Squarespace Commerce hosts our online ticket booking system.  The information that they ask you to provide is part of the buying and selling process.  Payment for event tickets is collected on this platform by a third party provider called Stripe.
